    Belkin Networking and Windows 98

    SOHO network of 2 computers that can both be pinged but not accessed or seen through Network Neighborhood. Definitely a Windows issue. Suggestions please?

    Off the top of my head

    File and printer sharing not installed
    Sharing not enabled
    Corrupt protocol [TCP/IP,Netbeui]
    Different Work Group name
    Same computer name
    Firewall blocking access


    Im sure theres more.........

    Thansk for the response 10. I got it all sorted. turned out to be corrupt files and TCP files
