email is gone

when i right click on start menu and go to properties then customize and under "Show on start menu" where internet and email is, next to email there is NOTHING in the drop down menu and now the only thing in internet is firefox. something removed im guessing the registry keys for outlook express and internet explorer, and im guessing it was Spam Bully which i tried out then uninstalled. is there anyway to add them back to the drop down menus? thanx

//edit - just noticed, every time i start OE, it asks whether or not to make it the default program, i choose yes then i can go to Tools-Options and i can click on make default at the bottom and click on apply and it doesnt work, i.e. i can go right back to options and it wont be the default no matter how many times i click on "make default"

Look if it can be selected from the drop down box
