    Talking EZ AV Message

    I just got a really wierd message when I hit the autodownload button to see if my EZ AV 6.1.7 was up to date.

    It read "the handle is in the wrong state for the requested operation."

    I couldn't help but laugh!

    It sounds like a prank message doesn't it?

    I read on another forum about server problems last night with 6.2 downloads.

    Anybody got any thoughts on this one?

    Just checked again and got "virus data files are up to date" but I wanna know about "the handle."

    Le Boule: Yeah, apparently there are some server availbility issues at CA this weekend. My guess is that has something to do with your "handle".

    My v6.2 didn't have any trouble reaching the server so I have wondered if a routing issue is part of all of this. Like you, I saw Shem's (from eTrust) post so he is obviously aware of it. I haven't had a chance to speak with anyone else I know that has v6.2 to see if they are having issues.
