unknown virus

my friend seems to have some type of virus or worm that is setting her Aol instant messenger away message as "OMFG *** deleted link to infected 20,633-byte file named "friends.scr.exe" *** !!!"

its geetting pretty annoying for her and i need to know if ne1 knows anything about this or how to get rid of it?
