Is there a problem at Spywareinfo forums?

    Hi,
I went to Spywareinfo forums earlier today. I am now unable to get to the forums page using this address:

    http://forums.spywareinfo.com/

I'm wondering if there is a problem at the site, or if something's going on with my computer. I have dsl and can access other sites fine and the main www.spywareinfo.com/ site, just not the forums.

Please let me know if you can access it. Thanks.

    Sincerely, Nancee

Thank you P3-450 for checking the site. I have a very small hosts file (which I made when the verisign problem came up). I think the last entry has to do with being redirected also, I'm not sure.
    I attaching a screenshot.

I tried the second link 104456 posted. I got to the link immediately, but when I clicked on the link for the forums, the page seems like it wants to load, but it doesn't.

    I don't know what's going on.

    Sincerely, Nancee

Well there's no problem there. Go to the DOS Prompt or Command Prompt (I'm not quite sure whether you're running Win98 or 2000 from your screenshot). At the prompt type "tracert www.spywareinfo.com" without the quotes. That should resolve to an IP address of 209.133.47.12 - if it doesn't the problem is most likely with your ISP's DNS server. Otherwise try and post a screenshot of the Command Prompt window.
    Nick.

    Hi SuperSparks,
A little while ago I decided to use the msdos prompt and I pinged forums.spywareinfo.com and I got 4 replies and it showed 209.133.47.222. I then tried to access the site again, and I did! Right now I have that window minimized. It's odd because I was able to access the main page, but not the forums.
I wonder if doing the ping helped.
    Sincerely, Nancee
