    Question Installing cold cath tube

    I got my cold cath tube and want to install it in the computer. My problem is the instructions were printed way too small on the box. I have it hooked up properly to the power inverter, but I'm not sure I have it plugged in properly to its toggle switch.

    I read that the toggle switch is actually optional and I can just plug it directly into a regular molex power cable. Is this so?

    edit: My run of bad luck continues. It won't light up. I've plugged it into 2 different connectors, and it won't light up.

    Could be a bad tube right out of the box. Check this link;

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks. That was an interesting link. Is there only one proper way to hook the power cable up to the inverter (the red and black wires)? The power inverter I have supports 2 caths. Does it matter which socket I plug the cath tube into?
