Lost all my family pictures......
I use Nero Incd Packet writing software. Over last couple of years I have put lots of family pictures on one CD. And of course disaster strucked...Basicaly CD can not be read at all, Incd can not open it and my wife is going to divorce me over this. In this CD I also have some Excel files and downloaded exe. files too.
E drive desperately turn, makes all sort of noices but NO avail.
Can a faulty CD be recovered? Any suggestions Pleaseeee?

You can try this program, ISOBuster. It's said to retrieve files that are unreadable by your cdrom drive. It has been used successfully by others. Get it here:

If Isobuster doesn't do it here's some freeware file recovery software:
PC Inspector
For future reference, packet-writing software is notoriously unreliable, and re-writable CD's themselves are nowhere near as safe as CDR's. Never rely on a packet-written CDRW for anything important, especially when you can buy decent CDR's for 16-20 pence.
Nick.
