On my computer it does. And another reason to run Spybot would be the immunize functions.

Well it turns out he's using Win2K PRO, which is different than 2K. He says that because 2K Pro is entirely NT based, it won't work with Spybot.

Does find things that Ad-Aware didn't find. Just yesterday I installed both on a computer, ran Ad-Aware first and then Spybot, Spybot found five problems (just tracking cookies and something Alexa-related though).
f117nighthawk, Spybot does work on Windows 2k pro and NT. The website says you need administrator rights for some functions.
