Wireless Keyboard/Mouse not working
Fresh newly built system for client. Windows XP Professional installed (SP1a). Can't get the A4Tech KBS-2548RP to work. The cursor is there on the screen for the mouse but you can't type and the mouse won't move. Keyboard is on Channel 1, Mouse is on Channel 2, what am I doing wrong?

-Are the old KB and mouse removed from Device Manager?
-Are the receiver's cables securely connected?
-If the receiver is PS/2, then are its mouse and KB cables connected to the correct ports?
-If the receiver is USB, then is the USB controller enabled in BIOS, and are there any USB problems in Device Manager?
If those are ok, then did you try a different USB port?
If no luck, then does a different USB device work in the same ports?
-Is the software installed for the correct O/S?
-Are all batteries installed with the correct polarity, and are all rechargeable batteries fully charged?
-Is the receiver 8" or more from any electromechanical devices, i.e., monitor?
-Are both the mouse and KB 6.5" or less from the receiver?
-Are the receiver, mouse, and KB set to the same frequency?

all working at clients home. Apparently it may have been interference with several TV remote controls and a cordless phone.
