Using InCD-cannot see files in pc#2

I used InCD to make a CD-rw like a large Floppy.
I successfully Copied My Documents and My Pictures to the CD-rw.
I then took it to my other PC, which also has InCd installed and using it's cd rom drive was not able to see the contents of the CD.
I put the CD-rw disk back into the orig PC and was able to see the contents of the disk. Something is escaping me here. What am I overlooking? tanks, joe

Can you packet-write to another CD-RW on PC#2 to begin with? If not, INCD may not be installed correctly on the second PC.

PC #2 does not have a CD-rw drive only a CD rom reader drive.
I thought If I made a CD on one machine and put it into any other Pc I would be able to read and copy the data onto another machine.
And I do not know what packet write means. thanks, joe

"packet-writing" is the method that is used to write to a CD-RW that behaves like another removable media drive (hard drive or big floppy)

Not ALL CD-Roms can read a CD-RW, even if it is "finalized" like a true CD-R, and almost NONE of them can read an open-session disc like you are using with INCD.

Only another CD-Writer, with the appropriate software (INCD or something equivalent to it) should be expected to read this disc. Although, if your intention is to use a CD-RW to move files between the two computers, then you can probably use this same piece of media successfully, but you'll have to burn it as a data disc with a standard CD-burning software application, not just copying files to it via INCD in this manner.

Nero should have a downloadable reader for InCD discs at their website.

If you have a Nero retail CD, the reader is available there as well.

Packet writing sounds like a good idea, but in practice, it's situations like this that push the majority of users away from it.
