Internet Explorer problem
Somehow a popup window opened this morning and changed my internet settings. Now my homepage is different and everytime I try to go to a website I get tons of popups about killing pop up
s! What a pain in the assssss! There is also a toolbar now that wasn't there before called I-lookup.com toolbar. I went into the add/remove programs and deleted it but it is still there. How do I go into the reg and get rid of it? Or is there a better way? Thanks.

You have a few things in there that need removing.
Please run the other above programs to eliminate most of the problems.
Then do another HJT scan and post it.
Then hopefully we can see what left.

Ok
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [DirectX64] C:\WINDOWS\System32\DirectXset.exe
this belongs to a worm, update you virus program and do a scan.
Then you can place a tick in these and fix them.
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Int
ernet Settings,ProxyOverride = 127.0.0.1
R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing
Also run a spybot scan, as this may find what Adaware hasnt.

I ran my virus software a few times and it isn't picking up any viruses or worms. I did make sure I updated it before I scanned too. I will run Spybot and see what happens.
