Internet Explorer
I can't connect to the internet through my IE desktop icon. In order to surf the internet I am going through my internet connections in the control panel, choosing my ISP,connecting then clicking on a favorite website and once their I can surf the web. Can anyone provide ideas of how to get my IE desktop icon working so I don't have to keep doing this?

Hi and welcome to Vdr.
Right click the IE icon and left click delete and send it to the recycle bin.
Goto start>all programs and right click Internet Explorer, scroll down to send to and left click desktop and you have vreated a new shortcut on the desktop.

Also, I have encountered a new problem. Whenever I am on a webpage that has a link to another page, an IE Explorer error message appears that states that an error has occurred and it won't allow me to advance to the next page. Thanks
