    Monitor or Computer ?

    How can I tell if I have a bad monitor or other component,,, There is no image on the monitor when I boot pc. When I turn on the monitor it shows a green light then it switches to yellow.
    Heard at a local auto-repair shop:
    "I couldn't repair your brakes,
    so I made your horn louder."

    ..And does the machine continue to powerup? Any beeps? More likely the video card. Try another one. Make sure the monitor cable is secure.

    Reseat all memory.

    To be sure, try another monitor.

    Bingo... You were right it was the video card.. I just had to reseat it and it works fine...Thanks
