Anybody seen this error
C:\Windows\System32\Config\Systemd
Can't for the life of me fix it, working long distance with a relative.
W2K Pro boots to this error and freezes...Any sugesstions?????
Thx fixed 34 to 32....

Thanks will check it out. The problem is this is a Long Distance tele-phone repair with son-in-law. Damn, COMPAQ, the C: drive is a logical partition, haven't been able to get to it. His CD is scratched so it will not boot from it. So can't get to recovery counsel. Trying to help him make some boot disks to try a repair. Really strnage and I'm not into Compaq. HAs a recovery CD but it freezes....

Hi Murf, I take it you mean system32. I hate these oem installs you have a corrupted registry and will need a 2k cd to fix . First link above tells how.

Got boot disk made and used repair to fix.
