network access but no internet
I have a small network of 20 odd machines, all Win98 accessing the net thru wingate. All machines except one can access the net. The problem machine can access the network but I get a DNS error when trying to get to the net. IPCONGIF /all gives correct settings. I have tried a couple of working NIC's but to no avail. netowrk is set to family logon, with tcp/ip and nic card only. Have tried network logon as well. I have done IE repair but it doesn't work with netscape either. I have run out of ideas. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Perhaps a corrupt TCP/IP stack or DNS registry problem.
See if the files provided by jmmats here help http://forums.devshed.com/t110089/s3...a48cd123d.html

I believe that I have this corrupt DNS registry issue. Does anyone have the exe and instructions to correct this problem?
Thanks
