wierd trouble
A friend of mine is having trouble with his computer running ME. Yesterday his computer began to "act funny" -(those words of his on the phone) While using internet explorer, his favorites started going up and down then closing. The icons on the bottom of the screen went black (today they are yellow). The keyboard yesterday was typing different letters than were being pressed. Today the keyboard died. He began a virus scan yesterday and halfway thru the computer shut down. He restarted, got the latest definitions and did three scans thru the day, all came up clean. Any ideas on what this could be? Any virus or worm that may have been inbedded and not seen? The power supply fan is working, he has taken out the keyboard cable and cleaned out the hole.
thanks for your help

Thanks for the reply Chris.
He has the latest Norton's witht he latest updates and it sees nothing wrong. But I will send him the link and as long as he doesn't have to type to scan he'll be okay
