Error message
When try to start XP the following error message pops up:
BIOS ROM checksum error
Detecting floppy drive A media...
INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER.
I've never seen before
What's faulty

Usually means either you BIOS rom chip is faulty or a something on the motherboard is faulty.
Things you can try are,
ensure that all cable are ok
Check if everthing is seated correctly inside.
or
Start you computer with only the basic. Video, RAM and CPU.

It could mean that the motherboard battery is dying. They don't cost much so I'd just change it.
