Well, that was interesting but it didn't work in this case.
My old harddrive was loaded with win98 se which comes equipped with IE5.
My small fresh reload was with Win98 first edition which comes equipped with IE4. I installed IE6 to it. So, when it came time to import the files, IE5 was NOT on the list, therefore I couldn't actually import the files. I was able to make the folder containing the files I wanted, but could not import them.
I ended up booting the drive and printing all the email and as I write this..i just now realized that the addy's I copied to a document are gone because I forgot to print the document ...oh well.
I'm just glad I was able to print the email (was VERY IMPORTANT stuff).
I had a lot of problems with the drive, and wasn't sure if I was going to be able to print.
Anyway, thanks for that link, the information was still good, it just didn't work for me under these conditions.
