    HP laserjet4 - cannot print to it.

    Win95 is becoming a pet hate of mine.

    A user on our network can install a HP laserjet 4. Once installed - some files can be printed and some cause a Printer error or busy message.
    The other thing is that some of the DLL files have installed as DL_

    Lastly - Windows Explorer now hangs when browsing some directories...

    Yes I have removed all traces of Printers and DLLs and reinstalled.
    Yes I have tried copying the DLL files across as DLL.

    I am now going to reinstall Win95. While I'm doing that - any ideas.
    I'm bald, but I still have a hairline fracture !!

    Use the generic drivers that are built into 95 & not the ones from HP

    clean out the \windows\temp and \windows\temporary internet files folders. Run scandisk & defrag
