unhidding the task bar
i wonder if someone knows the keyboard shortcut to raise a hidden task bar.
i´m looking for another shortcut than hitting the ´windows key´, since that one also *deploys* the top level menu.
thanks, i know is not that important, but i found this very annoying ;->

Restore hidden Taskbar [MOUSE R], [R], [U]
-------------------
It's not totally a keyboard shortcut cause you firstly need to Right Click over a space on the taskbar [MOUSE R] .... but hey it's the best I could come up with.
Cheers

pipster, what do you mean? if a i do what i think you mean -rigth mouse click, then press ´r´ key and then ´u´key- my spanish version of *ole 95* it tries to create a shortcut from whatever file i am at the moment to the desktop... and if i do that on top of the destop it opens the desktop properties window.
perhaps it is because i´m using a version in spanish...
thanks anyway.
i like your tip, jones ;->

thanks, steven i found out that if you press the windows key, it raises, but after that you can destroy the top level menu by pressing the alt key.
i forgot to mention that this menu is so annoying because i have the task bar on the right...
thanks a lot for the link.

thanks PCSolutions, but that not only *unhides* the task bar but also raises the top level menu...
like i said is not a big deal... but is annoying...
i found out that if you have the focus on the desktop, hitting ´tab´ key raises the task bar only.
but, if the focus is on a window, i guess the fastest way of doing it is hitting the ´alt´ key right after the task bar is ´up´; that kills the top level menu, and only that menu.
thanks for the answers.
