    Don't want to get into the 'legality' of file sharing here,but one of the first things a file sharer learns if their IQ is above about 20, is to NEVER dn/load executable(.exe) files. And as the article describes, file extensions of: wav,mp3,jpg are mostly non infectable unless a double extension is involved.
    My curiosity has to ask,what makes the author immune to being sued by the RIAA if he/she dn/loaded 4,778 files as stated? Oh,,yeah,,that's right, it's "just" research...
