Mozilla 1.6 released
Mozilla 1.6, out and ready to roll
I don't actually have it yet. I want to see if there's a way to backup all my settings, bookmarks, etc. before I actually install the new browser.

I haven't had Mozilla on my computer in almost a year, but I decided to download the new version last night. I don't feel that much has changed.

If you're already using Mozilla and you haven't overridden the profile storage location, your settings are safe - profiles are stored within C:\Documents And Settings by default, and aren't removed when you uninstall the old Mozilla version.
Safe computing is a habit, not a toolkit.
