Golden Palace Casino startup removal
For some time now we are getting some Golden Palace Casino program/cookie/virus/don't know on a computer and we can't seem to get rid of it. A few days ago it actually installed a program that was 65MB!!! we uninstalled it but day it is back (just the pop-ups at startup not the installed program). Has anyone else had this problem???
Please help

Try Spybot and Adaware listed at that url.
Then do not to do under the heading of "SETTINGS TO AVOID BEING HIJACKED"
Now if you have IE 6 disable "Enable install on demand (other)" also.
That is the server demanding to install and does not effect your downloading and installing.

Try this
After Spybot has run, close down your system and with the internet disconnected, start it up again in safe mode and then run spybot or even better Norton Antivirus, this will tend to allow the detection and deletion before any part of the program/virus has loaded and hidden into your system.
If it is a virus and it still hasnt gone run spybot or a virus scanner of some sort, delete whatever you find you then need to turn off System restore as the virus can be kept hidden in there do this by going to Control Panel>System>System Restore (tab) and clicking disable, Reboot the system in safe mode again, run the virus scanner or spybot, delete what it shows, start-up system in normal mode the program should now hopefully be completely gone from the system.
Dont forget that once you know its not there to enable system restore once again.
Hope this helps?
