icon question...

Howdy,

What do I have to do, which settings do I make, etc.----In order to capture a website's icon? It's the icon to the left of the URL.
All that I get anymore is the generic blue windows icon. Favorites are the same way.

I really like my online bank's icon for my desktop, but I can't get it back. I've gone into the registry and deleted all the TypedURLs, run EasyCleaner, run Spider, Scandisk, and defragged. Still get the blue generic when I type in an address.

Who will be the first to give me great knowledge??!!
