Restricted Sites/ Security Tab
A while ago I put games.yahoo.com in the list of Restricted Sites. Now I deleted it from the restricted sited under the security tab but it wont let me get into that website. When I click on the Privacy Report icon it tells me the website and under cookies it says "blocked". When I go to the security tab, the restricted list is empty.

Try clearing your Temporary Internet Files and Cookies and try to see if you can reach games.yahoo.com. If that doesn't work, the problem could be caused by entries in the Hosts file. To edit the file, enter this command in the Start | Run box, making sure to include the "." at the end of the command:
If you have Windows 2000/XP:
notepad C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\Etc\Hosts.
If you have Windows 95/98/Me:
notepad C:\Windows\Hosts.
If you find the line games.yahoo.com or any website with the names of the sites that you can't access, delete that line, save the file, and try again.

I deleted all cookies and temp files. No luck. As far as the entries in the host file this is all that it contained:
127.0.0.1 localhost
66.118.163.109 auto.search.msn.com
This really makes no sense. The list of restricted sites is empty yet the privacy report says the website is blocked.

The privacy controls can restrict a site even if it's not in the restricted zone. What are your privacy controls set at?
I just tried going into IE, kicked my privacy settings to "high" (which pretty much blocks all cookies) and it indicated that games.yahoo.com was a restricted site when I accessed it.
Just a thought...?

I did play around with the privacy settings. I don't think that has anything to do with it. If that was the case there would be at least a few other websites encountering the same siituation. But it only does it to games.yahoo.com a site which I know I put in the restricted list a while ago and removed today. Somehow IE keeps thinking games.yahoo.com in still in the restricted list.
Maybe I can reset some settings to default. It's not like I can delete IE and reinstall it. Even when you upgrade it keeps your last settings.
