Rdram???
Can RDRAM at speed PC1066 run in rimm slots that are made for PC600 - PC800? If so, I am guessing that the PC1066 will slow to PC800 speed. Any other thoughts?
Thanks

ebay was cheapest
Ebay had the best price when I bought 2x 256 Non-ecc rdram for my Dell about a year ago.
I think it was Toshiba Brand but I did not find out until it arrived. If memory serves (EWww bad pun), It was just under $200.
I have a Deminsion 8100 that does not require ECC .
Dell always goes the cheapest cost route and I would be surprised if your machine needs ECC ram.
It took me some searching to finally find that this 8100 did not need ECC RAM though.
Good Luck,
John

These guys here have often been pretty decent, and Samsung is good memory.
Please remember to post back whether your problem is resolved or
not, so that others may gain from the knowledge.

My dell does have ECC. I thought it did not too but I called them to make sure and i was wrong. Good thing i called before i bought!!!
That memory4less is sort of expensive but thanks for the help.
mmmm what to do, what to do. Anyone know of a P3 slot1 1Ghz FSB133Mhz processor that is cheap. that is funny...slot1 and cheap. well 'f' maybe it is not a good idea to update this 'piece'. maybe the gamecube and zelda bundle that i will be getting soon will make me forget about the this 'piece'.
Thanks
