Error message
Trying to install WinXP Pro I get message:
"File \i386\ntkrnlmp.exe could not be loaded. The error code is 7. Setup cannot continue."
I replaced memory, motherboard and still same error.
Need help

I received the same installing on a friends A7V8X. Got past it by disabling the shadows for the video and the bios. the install took a while but i was able to get through it after that and then just reenable it after the install..
PS you might want to give some more info on the hardware and such..also have you checked for any compatibility issues?

Did you read down at the bottom on the link i gave referring to pressing F-7 instead of F-6 when prompted during setup?

It's OK now, problem solved. Faulty CPU.
