    monitor problems

    I am running Win200Pro and when I am on the internet via
    IE version 6.0 the screen appears fuzzy the settings on the display are: 800 x 600 , 16 colors (only choice).
    When I work on word, excel, there are no problems. The problems are only when there are colors and shading.
    I hooked my pc up to another monitor and the same thing happened. Could it be the video card?

    Yes, it must be the video card since two different monitors are getting the same input from the card.

    It's probably just a matter of downloading and installing the right drivers for your card.

    Find the make and model of the card and go to the card's manufacturer's web site to get the drivers.

    are you talking about 16 colors or 16 million colors? If it is 16 colors then you will need to install your video driver. What video card do you have?

    Smile Thanks the problem is resolved

    I did a search to update my driver and downloaded the driver and that resolved my problem.
