    gigabyte 7ZXE problem

The computer will not boot!!! The only things connected to the motherboard are...

    The motherboard
    ram
    processor
    psu
    video card
    floppy drive
    network card

when i turn the power on the motherboard light comes on (red led). I switched out video cards and i still could not get anything to display on the screen. Is it a motherboard, processor, or something else problem???

    Thanks

Well you've narrowed it down to the motherboard. Try removing the motherboard and placing it on a piece of cardboard to make absolutly sure it's not grounding itself to the case. Then hook up and try to boot. If it boots-it was grounding out. If it doesn't boot probably a bad board.

    That's my 2 cents.
