    IE 6 problem

    need more than 45 sec to open ie 6. use cable internet.
    I had the same problem a time ago. I know it is something regarding Messenger.

    I know that if you rename the Messenger folder to MessengerOld your Outlook Express if you use it opens and works faster. As for IE6 was not aware it slowed that down also. If you rename the folder you will no longer be able to use Messenger.

    Another way to disable Messenger, but still allow for toggling back on
