New video card
I have started to think that my 64 MB card is getting too old...
I am planning on getting a 128MB card but I am not certain which one
can anyone tell me which card I should get?
I was thinking about getting this gainward (Nvida), since it is the brand of card I have now..,
I dont know much about what makes a Video card better..., I am looking for a cheaper one but I want one that is well.., good and can handle the games I want to run on it in the next couple of years....
I do want at least a TV-out..., I am also curious about a good card with a TV-in since I am planning on getting a TV tuner card possibly later..., a basic TV-in may work to replace it....
thanx in advanced,
Byan

I have a MSI 645E Max
ok..., I have a AGP 4x..., but I was told that cards are backwards supported...
http://secure.newegg.com/app/specifi...tem=14-128-164
it saysthat is supports Bus interface: AGP 1X/2X/4X/8X
so it should support my mobo right?
thanx again,

One AGP (Accelerated Graphics Port) 2x/4x slot.
Backward compatibility has been cut off at the AGP 4X (1.5V) level, which means AGP 8X slots cannot use older AGP 2X (3.3V) graphics adapters.
But in your case yes it will work.
Same card here $53.00

Just about any AGP 8x card will work with a 4x slot. I wouldn't venture to say that they ALL will, but I've never seen one that won't.
Never do today what you can put off until tomorrow.
