    AVG Updates

    For the last couple of days I can not connect to the free AVG anti virus updates. Does anyone else have this problem?

    I use version 7 Pro on one of my systems, and I've not had any problems with that version on updates...

    I got an update yesterday after trying for two to three days. Seems they are just very busy and it's hard to get through. I got through fairly late in the evening - EST.

    I got through last night also. Try accessing the update in the late evening and see what happens.

    Sometimes you have to try 5-10 times before it gets a connection. And download is then pretty much a crawl. Server's probably overloaded with requests...and not the world's most ressourceful. Keep trying and try at different times of the day as suggested.

    If you cannot get an update the usual way you can go to their web page, download the update, put it into the AVG update folder and restart AVG. It will find the update and install it.
