    backing up an old computer

Ok, I have somebody who wants me to copy a few files from his old computer and transfer them on to the new computer.

The old computer is a really old one with windows 95 on it. It doesn't have any USB ports. All the external storage devices come with USB connection. The files that I have to copy are fe hundred mgs so I couldn't use floppies. The computer doesn't have network card and I won't wanna have to go thru the pain to install one. What are my options besides taking the hard drive out and putting it in the new computer?
my code doesn't break, it only bends

You can use a direct serial cable connection as described here:

Of course you'll have to purchase the proper cable if not at hand...

Take a look at this link, it outlines various ways of connecting two computers without a NIC (ie - a serial or parallel cable).

Why not just take the two seconds to slave the old harddrive?
