Windows welcome screen error
On the Windows XP Home welcome screen that allows you to choose which account you can log into, a small box appears titled "Windows - System Error" and gives the message "A duplicate name exists on the network". After ok'ing the message, the computer logs on normally. I am using a linksys wireless B router also.
Thanks

This may be caused because the network that you are logging on to, has a computer with the same name.
To check the name of your computer
Right click on My Computer -> Select Properties -> Select the Computer Name Tab.
Check the names of the computers on your network, you cannot have 2 computers with the same names over the same network.
