Terminal Services
Hi,
I have tried to alter the ports for terminal services so i wonder if you have any ideas.
We have a remote demo server on the web, we use Terminal Services currently on some clients sites they block this through there firewall, obviously this is a pain and can cause issues.
Is there a piece of software like terminal services that will run on say Port 80?
I tried telling Terminal Services to use Port 80 but that didn't work. using article: KB187523.
Chances are it cannot be done but no harm in asking
Thanks

Don't use a common TCP port. Some firewalls can be configured to reject non-HTTP traffic on port 80 etc..

You can assign Terminal Services to use any *unused* port (key word). Any other software you would get (i.e. WinVNC) would also need to have ports open in your firewall...
