Probably a dumb question, but
I had to do a system recovery, and now I have no preview functions for bitmaps, gifs, or any other graphics. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Did you use your computer's manufacture recovery disc or use Windows XP "System Restore"?
In either case, you can go to the folder where your pictures are using My Computer or Windows Explorer (buried in Accessories). Then right-click once on a blank space in that folder (don't click any file). Then select Thumbnail or Flimstrip (I'm not sure if flimstrip is available in all folder). You should now be able to view most of your pictures w/o opening an imaging editor.
I remember there is also the actual preview where when you click on the file, it'll display to the left of the screen w/ the buttons such as rotate, flip, etc. Can't really remember how to enable that. Anyone?
If you keep looking ahead for tomorrow, you might be missing today.
