    Unhappy Screensaver Woes!

    Xp Pro SP1
    512 Meg Ram
    All the best Aps !


    Downloaded a cool screensaver but when I set it through the desktop , when I check again it has reverted to " none " in the settings?? Can preview the screensaver but after applying it it will not work...gr

    Any suggestions please ?

    I can only think that it's the "software bug" in the screensaver. Or acouple of other thing such as, is it a high end graphic screensaver? Just tonight I myself downloaded a few screen savers from ATI which were made for their graphic display card, and since I didn't have a high end graphic card installed, the screen saver wouldn't run. So this might be the same problem you are having. If you do have a high end graphics card installed, check to see if you have the current Microsoft Direct X 9.0 installed.
