missing msgr??32.dll in word 2002

hi everybody

thanks for reading this.
when i try to check spelling and grammar under word 2002 it reports that the file msgr??32.dll is missing. also when i go to options under tools, and click the spelling and gramamr tab the grammar section is all gray.

somepeople in other forms say to fix this i have to reinstall windows. which is something that i am totally not going to do.

how can i fix this problem. thanks again.

in that little box that says "do not check spelling or grammar"
