    Prevent Regedit from Saving the Last Location

    ok i asked about this tweak earlier and i finally found it go here to see what i am talking about

    Thank you for that link globe_shoes15, I always wanted to be able to do that. Its irritating to have to back track every time I open regedit.

    Hi I actually like this feature particularly if you are editing the registry and need to close and open to where you left off. You can get back to My Computer in a whisk by holding down the shift key and the left arrow.

    well when i get into the registry i dont really stay in one particular key for that long just enough to modify a value so this way i can go back to my computer easier

    I prefer the default behavior also (leaving regedit open). But, if I change my mind, I now know how to change it. Thanks, for the link.
