Mozilla install problem
After installing Mozilla 1.4 on a Windows2000 Pro computer, the browser will not load. Tried several times to uninstall and reinstall, no change. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Did you use the .exe or .zip file to do the install? I had trouble with the zip before.

Used the .exe file and received no error messages. The program just would not load, like I never clicked on it. Never had this kind of problem before. Done a full virus check, the computer is clean.
Any other thoughts?

Try the firebird install from the same link http://www.mozilla.org/.

Installed the 1.5 Beta, loaded normally, but got an "Illegal Procedure" almost immediately and the program shut down. I think I give up, stay with IE.
Thanks for all your help.

There is a 1.5 ALPHA [which is worse than a beta] but I wouldn't suggest installing either and this may be your problem.
The only stable browsers available are the 1.4 and the 0.6.1
