Help! Resolution is Huge!
When we turned on our computer today, the resolution is huge! We try to change it in the display properties and the bar will not move. It is like it is stuck on 640 X 480! Can someone help please? We have shut down and rebooted several times. Thank you

Apparantly your video drivers somehow got corrupt.
Reboot and hit the F8 key before it starts loading windows, this will bring it up in SAFE MODE.
Now right click on "My Computer" then to Properties, then on the Device Manager TAB
Click on the + sign next to Graphics (may say Display) then highlight the entry (Probably says something like "Standard Adapter", hit REMOVE button.
Now reboot and Windows should find the right drivers and install them.

Welcome...
The drivers on the CD are probably outdated, but will work well. Do a Windows Update (START | Windows Update) may find updated video drivers....

Yeah Murf, we thought they were probably outdated, but we could not get anything to download last night for some reason, so we just used the cd we had. I will go out and see if there are any newer ones out there. Thanks for the help.

Thanks Ridge, I actually had not thought of the diamond site. Will check it out today, but so far everything with that problem is ok. But now when we boot up, it sounds like it is trying to access the floppy drive. We had that sound before and got it to stop but not sure where we went for that. Any ideas on that one? Thanks.
