Opening a new window

Recently I have had trouble opening a new window when clicking on a link. When I click on a link me new window opnes up as if were minimized right in the middle of the screen. Can anyone advise me how I can fix this issue?

Close the first window. Hold the CTRL key while dragging the second window to the size you want then close.

Coach17--If that does not work, try a variation. Drag the New window to size/location you want, then close the original window, followed by closing the New window. It is not necessary to hold down Control in this procedure.
