Win2000 & WinXP
There was a time when the XP computer can get in the internet.... but nevermore....
There is a network detection on the XP, but it can't see the 2000 machine, nor the 2000 machine can see the XP...
What could the problem be?
Both machine have the same workgroup name already!!
If there is a problem, there is a solution!

Make sure you're on the same subnet mask. Ensure firewalls are disabled while troubleshooting...

Open the command prompt and type "ipconfig" or "ipconfig/all" to display your TCP/IP configuration.

You could do it two ways.
1. Type "ipconfig/release", and then type "ipconfig/renew".
or
2. Download Wntipcfg.exe at Microsoft if you prefer a GUI interface instead of the command lines.
