Remove Every Trace Of AOL
I want to remove every trace of every AOL Version in my system
Dell Dimension 8100
OS : XP
AOL Versions : 6,7,8
Steps I Hv Found ..

. Go to Start button > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs
2. From the list of installed programs, select "America Online" and
click the Add/Remove button. Follow the instructions to uninstall AOL
from your system.
3. After AOL has been uninstalled, go to Start button > Settings >
Control Panel > Network Properties
4. Remove from the installed components:
- AOL adapter
- AOL Dial-up adapter
- TCP/IP - AOL adapter
BUT THEY ARE VALID FOR WIN98 ...
STEPS FOR XP REQUIRED>>>>>>>>

WHAT I DID
delete from;
desktop
start page
all programs
add/remove programs
that's what did it for me. you can download Registry Cleaner
http://snurl.com/REGCLEAN
and get anything left behind.
ADD/REMOVE PRO is handy to have around also
