Well I narrowed down the explorer crashes.
I may have boasted before about how I have been getting explorer crashes but now I have narrowed it down to "Windows Explorer" crashing only. When I have it opened for a while and do things in it when I go to close it I get the error and any windows I have opened close what I don't understand is why does it seem to crash explorer.exe 50% of the time I go to close "Windows Explorer" It does not bring down the entire operating system but it is very annoying and now it seems like Netscape using as my alternative browser because Internet Explorer keeps freezing on certain sites and need to use netscape to view them I now need a alternative program to use instead of "Windows Explorer" because 50% of the time when I go to close it it crashes. I know that there are no solutions to this problem what I am now looking for is a alternative windows explorer program.

Well to start with that version number you listed is for Internet Explorer and not Windows Explorer. As for what the error message is, I haven't got a clue. Guess what I would do is try to get another copy of IE and try to reinstall it.

Run the IE repair tool. But, if it does not fix the error then download and overinstall it.
How to Determine Which Version of Internet Explorer Is Installed
6.00.2462.0000 Internet Explorer 6 Public Preview (Beta)
6.00.2479.0006 Internet Explorer 6 Public Preview (Beta) Refresh
6.00.2600.0000 Internet Explorer 6 (Windows XP)
6.00.2800.1106 Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1 (Windows XP SP1)
6.00.3663.0000 Internet Explorer 6 for Microsoft Windows Server 2003 RC1
6.00.3718.0000 Internet Explorer 6 for Windows Server 2003 RC2
6.00.3790.0000 Internet Explorer 6 for Windows Server 2003 (released)
Hmm, you have a Branded IE from your Version number.

Maybe IE is causing Windows Explorer to crash.

Well it maybe spyware, Get Spybot Search & Destroy and see if finds anything also it maybe a program you downloaded which has buggy windows explorer integration which is causing it to crash, try uninstalling any program that has added to the windows explorer context menu.
