About 26,600 with zero posts
So you're probably thinking I have nothing better to do.
I noticed that when you click on the button the first page has heaps of poeple with zero posts.
So I selected Top 10 Posters and changed the value perpage in the URL to 200.
It told me there were 324 pages (ie 324 x 200) approx taking into account tha last page might not be a full 200.
Anyway I finally found that page 191 was the first page where the count went from 0 to 1 so that 133 (324 - 191) pages of people with 0 posts.
Which is 133 x 200 = 26,600 people.
Taking into account the last page and the fact that about half the people on page 191 had one post it would probaly be 26,500.
A lot of them appear to have been members for a long time and have never posted, so potentially they are just clogging the database ?
Anyway enough stats for now.
I'll go and do something more constructive.

1) Database coversions.
At the time V Dr converted to VBulletin from UBB lots of members lost posts (I lost about 500) from their counts as the posts weren't converted over (archived posts?).
Some OLD members got converted with none of their postscarryin over.
See what I mean here:

Also, yes, many people sign up and never post on the forums.
Another forum I'm at has 10,000 members, around 3,000 of whom have never posted so 25,000/65,000 here at V Dr is hitting a similar ratio.

All of these forums have lurkers...people who are too shy to post but read along....I was one of those at first....I bet we all were...
NOTE...I am not saying that all 26k plus of those are that situation....but....who am I...

Surely, I'm not the only one who reads (lurks) a forum for its educational value. For example, I have yet to switch from Win98 to XP but I visit the XP forum every few days. Best way I know to learn the facts and foibles that MS neglects to mention.

There was one Member just last week that has been a member since 2000, he/she only made 2 post during their whole time here. This individual made those 2 post just last week, after being a member for several years. Lets you know that not everyone has forgotten their Membership with VDr.
