Is my graphics card digital?
I am justinstalling a new LCD monitor which has alternative inputs for analogue and digital graphics cards. How can I tell which type of graphics car I have?

Looks as if mine is analogue. Although, apart from the small multi pin socket you have kindly illustrated, it has a round plug hole. I suspect that is just an alternative to the other - or might it be a TV output socket, or an svideo output. If so, I presume that this would not help my new screen (which, using the analogue, is miles better than my old monitor!!0
Thanks for the comments

Although using DVI is an improvement over analogue, from everything I've seen it's not worth buying a new graphics card just for the digital output alone.

That sounds like a S-Video out.

Agree with Falcon, it's S-video out.
