Laptop xp wants to marry Desktop XP Home

Hello Friends...

Well, i m trying to connect a pc with windows XP (pro) with a domain name and password (of my company network). At my home i want to connect this to my home pc windows XP (home). Now i using a hub . What all steps i hv to perform to connect them. I hv enable guest account on each system.


do i hv to create the same accout with same user and password on both systems

On your work PC, you don't want to log in to the domain. Set the domain to the computer name (it should be in the drop down list) and log into a local user account. Once you're in Windows, set up some shared drives (right click on the drive and go to sharing). Do this on the other PC too, if you like. The shared drives will be in Network Places. That should be it, really.
