Corrupted JavaVM in IE5.5
I need to get a copy of IE5.5 because the java is corrupted, but my pals at MSN tell me that they have discontinued it as well as any support. I am running WIN95 so that is the highest version that I can use. Any idea if it may still be around somewhere?

Still having Java difficulties
I downloaded IE5 and tried to execute it, but encountered an error saying the existing version was newer. Next I attempted to remove the existing version with add/remove, but it didn't give me that option. My choices were "add a component" or "repair". I tried repair again, but nothing was repaired.
I looked at the Java site and entered DOS command JVIEW. I saw the following:
MicroSoft Command-Line Loader for Java Version 5.00.3805
What else can I do?
P.S. I may have complicated matters last night when I tried to install another VM. It appears that the version is instended for windows 98, but it made alterations to my system.
I read the install log that was created. It found my existing VM version 5.0.3802.0 (msjava.dll) and replaced it with 5.0.3805.0.

corrupted java
I downloaded the later version of java, but when I attempt to use the Pogo game site, I am still getting a message that my java is bad. It there anything else I should check for in my IE? The JIT box is checked in the Internet Properties for Microsoft VM.

Java is Jumping again....
Yes, I have the Sun version, I don't know what was wrong, when I rebooted, I came up in DOS mode, but when windows loaded and I tried it again, it was functioning normally. Thank you all for the assistance. tc
