What is wrong with microsoft.
My browser still freezes up daily and it is reallly annoying. Can't they make a web browser that does not freeze up 10 times a day on certain sites a day, no wonder netscape does not freeze up at all. Now which one is the better browser.
I go to click a link on a page or something and nothing happens then it says that it is non repsonsive.
Hanging application iexplore.exe, version 6.0.2800.1106, hang module hungapp, version 0.0.0.0, hang address 0x00000000.

Have you had anyone else try the same site with the same browser? If they freeze up too, could very well be a problem with the site...If they don't freeze up, YOU have an issue with Your machine.
If you're happy and you know it......it's your meds.

Other people try to view those sites and they don't get freeze ups's but I know it is the browser because netscape works fine. I recently formated and reinstalled windows and Interfreeze Explorer still freezes on certain sites while netscape works fine.

Are you on dialup or high speed?
If dialup, do you have a network card installed but isn't being used? If so disable it.

IE6 is pretty stable. It never freezes for me.
My point is that your problem probably lies deeper: i.e. a hardware problem or a conflict with some other program you are running.
Since you reformatted, I'd suspect hardware.

problem lies with their support files in my opinion. half the time they work/ they don't work.
updater is useless.
i.e. 6+ fixed holes but I lost explorer options many other more deeper screws.
msn chat/ messenger is a piece of junk. after registry hell I'm able to post.
Email is totally screwed up. msn 6 expresss. reverts to local host. Have to enable new mail almost daily.
Thanks Bill for the total mess. Only thing that saves me is I know what I'm doing.
Kisses
mach and monster.

"...reverts to local host" is an AV problem most often from Norton but can happen with PCcillin, too.
Errr..."msn 6 express"? I'm not familiar with that one so I can't offer much help there.
